Satan is scared and he's willing to do anything to not lose. That's the plain and simple truth. But the awesome part of it is that we already have the victory through what Jesus did for us!
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (James 4.7-8a)
This week has just been an endless string of what the world calls disasters. Car crashes, car failures, friends family members passing away, pets having to be put down, it's freeeeeeezing outside [and yes, I consider this to be a disaster when I have to walk alllllll the way to class and getting windburn as a result haha] and sickness. But I still have joy because I have Jesus.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philip 4.6-7)

Today, let God be your shield. Let him take on your burdens and sorrows.
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Ps 5.11-12)
